Yikes!!
FCO only has an SPF of 4, and I am not positive about helichrysum, but if my brain serves me right, I am pretty sure it is only spf 4-6!!
Personally, I would not have used something like that, but I live in FL and we have to use SPF of at least 30-50 here.
Raspberry seed oil is excellent for sunscreen, SPF 30.

Hi I have a friend that sent this to me this morning:  (The 'recipe' was out of the ME book, under Sunscreen)

I made the sunscreen from the recipe you sent me with the helichrysum oil and the fractionated coconut oil and applied liberally to myself and my girls and we were all out in the sun for about 30 minutes and I am burned - really bad.  And my girls got burned too.  It's almost as though the essential oil intensified the sun.  I'm really disappointed as this oil was very expensive and I had high hopes.  Can you please tell me your return policy as the only reason I purchased this one is for the sunscreen benefits?  Thanks so much.  I haven't tried the other 2 oils yet.

Has this ever happened to anyone?  I use this blend in the sun and apply every hour and I have never burned.  I know every body is different...but a bad burn?  Really?  I'll call doTERRRA also for the return policy...I've never had to know what it is...everyone is always so happy with their oils. :(
