[Everything doTERRA] Re: Parvo prevention??

Just an FYI, if by some chance your puppy gets parvo and you cannot afford the thousands of dollars to treat at a vet. Purchase a case or more of Pedialyte with no flavor. Spoon it into the puppy if you have to every 10 to 20 minutes while it is in the vomiting comet stage, Keep it hydrated! Water does not have the electrolytes the pup will need. YOU will need to set an alarm for the first 4 nights to keep this baby alive. If you get to day 5 you will probably have passed the biggest hurdles. Keep giving the dog the Pedialyte until the dog is no longer sick. Good luck.

I have a 11 week old puppy and she has already had 2 sets of the parvo/distemper vaccines. However puppies are not "fully" vaccinated until they have completed 4 rounds (she will be 18 weeks old) of these vaccines. To be honest I never knew that you couldn't have your dogs around other healthy dogs or not be able to take them on walks or other normal daily activities before they had all 4 and we have never had a problem in the past. This news is making me nervous. She needs to go on walks and to run or my house will get destroyed with her boredom. Since parvo is a really nasty virus should I be ok using on gaurd with fractionated coconut oil on her feet before going anywhere?
