[Everything doTERRA] Re: Breast Augmentation Surgery

Thank you for your replies!  She is 1 week and 2 days out of surgery and still in quite a bit of pain but it IS getting better.  I knew the reaction I would get before I even asked about the EO's but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.  I agree with the time and place statement but anytime I can sub with oils I do.  She is staying on top of the pain with meds and we are putting oils on her feet and deep blue on her back and shoulders, diffusing lavender and vetiver still.  I try to use oils on my hands any time we massage or shower or anything else that I'm close enough that the aroma will help.  This surgery (like any other) is a whole lot more intense than she (or I for that matter) ever thought or had been told.

My daughter had augmentation surgery last Tuesday.  She is in a lot of pain still.  I have a few questions (some may be dumb) if anyone can help me because of course the Dr and nurses acted like I was crazy to even suggest EO's.

1.  Will the oils get in to her deep enough that they would compromise the plastic of the implants if applied to the breasts?

2.  What oils can I use on her feet (she won't let me close to her breasts with the oils) for pain and healing?

3.  Once the stitches are gone, what is a good protocol for the scarring?

4.  Any other advice is so welcome!

I have been using lavender and vetiver on her feet and diffusing for relaxation. Thank you for any information!
