An organization named "MERA DOCTOR" has launched a kit which has a card resembling any other plastic card like credit/debit/ATM card. It has a PIN number. Four persons can be enrolled under one PIN. The only mandatory thing is to have a mobile number. It is valid all over India. Four persons at four different locations can operate under one PIN number.
All that you have to do is activate your membership. Each time there is a need, make a missed call to the number provided on the KIT and quote your membership number.
Cost of the Kit is Rs.1299/-(now it is revised to 1700) which is very economical as compared to huge doctor bills and pathological bills and medicine bills that one incurs every now and then. They have their own pathological labs which offer 30% discount to members for any test. Please find attached nationwide list of discount network.
Accidental Insurance and Hospital Cash back facility is available only for ONE person in family, while the card covers 4 in family for other features. This one member need not be the primary (the person whom you sold the card). When the activation (welcome) call happens from HO, the person who bought the card can nominate anyone in family for this benefit. The person should be between 18-70 of age to avail the insurance benefit. However, the choice of hospital/nursing can be individual's choice.
