Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re:Problems thinkdoterra.com Websites

I do agree with that.  Interestingly enough when I was investigating joining doTERRA I came across one IPC that had reached out on the search engines.  I was Googling for someone in my area and all I found was her.  I still don't know where she's from, but she promised me all the Canadian leads they got through there sites making me an instant business builder.  She said her upline's goal was to reach 1 million people in their group.  She said it was because of their love of the oils, but I got the feeling it was about making instant business builders to make some serious cash.  Needless to say I did not sign with Claire.

I don't expect doTerra to take action against Think doTerra except that I think letting us know they had been compromised would have been appropriate. I also think it would have been appropriate for them to audit the IPCs on the enrolling IPCs account. The IPC agreement clearly gives them the right to do so and to terminate that IPCs account. Situations like this and how they are handled could cause people to leave doTerra.  It is up to us whether a class action lawsuit is warranted.

doTERRA will not do anything because it is an IPC that has set up the website as part of their own business.  I have decided after their site had been hacked and it has been down a number of times as well as never receiving one person signing up through this site that I will not renew.  This is the risk we took when we signed up with an IPC for the use of their website.  I honestly wish I had time to build my own site becuase putting my v office site is long to put on my cards. =)

I am hoping someone who knows the owners can find out about this. There are several of us who signed up for these websites and had this info printed on all of our literature. I can't count the number of times there were issues with the website, however, I can say that despite handing out hundreds of business cards, emails, catalogs and more I never received a single sign up from this site and neither have several of my friends on other teams. We have had several instances on our team where someone said they signed up but didn't show up and calls to doTerra showed that somehow they were on someone elses team. So far the ones we have found out about have been fixed but it makes you wonder about the ones we don't know about. I would think doTerra would want to investigate this and try and make it right for us even if they aren't responsible.

   Hi everyone,

I'm an Australian early FOUNDER - Gold and have been using

my thinkdoterra website on my email signature and promoting it through
business groups etc.
                       - WITH ZERO RESULT.

IMAGINE MY SHOCK appox. 3 weeks AGO WHEN I DECIDED TO TEST THE SIGN UP
FACILITY ON MY WEBSITE.

  I FOUND -

   1)   THERE WAS an Utah contact phone  number on the top front page of
my website as the CONTACT!!!  ( I'm an Australian)

   2)  I checked the think doterra website of one of my leaders who was in
NZ at the time -  SAME THING!!!  I was shocked.  It also had the
default listed below.

   3)   I proceeded to test the sign up facility on the site  and the
SYSTEM DEFAULTED TO ANOTHER IPC's ACCOUNT AS THE ENROLLER AND SPONSOR
!!!

   4)  I made enquiries with doTERRA Australian Customer Service etc and
found  out the account belonged to an UTAH IPC.

I made further enquirie to outside of the company channnels and was
told  THE DETAILS WERE OF THE UTAH BASED WEBMASTER (AND his wife) who
is managing and supposedly upgrading OUR WEBITES.

    5)  I spoke by phone with the webmaster and he aplologised(he also
told me their IPC account is "solid gold")  and said that the he didnt
understand what had happened as he was in the process of upgrading
every ones websites so they can have direct access to their virtual
offices through that webite etc.
(I don't like the sound of that - I would prefer that the ONLY access to
virtual offices is through the company's own secure facility)

INTERESTINGLY - it was during our conversation that the webmaster
DISABLED THE sign up facility on my site and my leader's site while he
was talking to me.

He did admit a 'strange' new Australian IPC  briefly turned up on their
front line then disappaeared.
I made enquiry re this account but it seemed to have come from another
situation.

   *  I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE ABOVE SCENARIO.

   *  THIS WOULD BE THE REASON EVERYONES SITES ARE DISABLED.  So the
default situation can be corrected etc etc.

   *  It has been suggested to my by my upline that I request a SEARCH by
doTERRA Placements for any AUSTRALAIN sign ups to the webmasters
doTERRA account that may have come from my site or that of my IPCs.

As we say here in Australia my sharing of the above information may be
'PUTTING THE CAT AMONG THE PIDGEONS', however I am concerned for all
of us who have these sites.
The situation needs to be addressed to the satisfacion of all concerned.

Your thoughts everone - as I have shared the above information
reluctently.

Warm regards   Robyn Simon (Gold)  Australian Founder

I stopped putting my thinkdoterra website on my business cards because it
