Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: young living lawsuit
I would like to clarify some information about Kosher foods. The Torah lists what foods are kosher and what is required to assure that they are Kosher. It is the assurance that they are kosher that the Kosher certification is for. Among things that are checked when certifying something to be kosher is that it has had no contact with something that is non kosher (ex. pork)
This would mean that it was not prepared in or with anything that was used with non kosher items - separate cooking area, separate preparation area , , ,
For this reason, you might start with something kosher (like an herb) and prepare it with something non kosher like gelatin capsules, fillers or coatings that are non kosher lye . .
Kosher certification assures that it has started as and remains kosher throught he whole process.
For more information you can look at the largest certifying associations website: http;//www.oukosher.com
Please let me know if you want or need more information.
