[Everything doTERRA] Re: Absence Seizures

Hi Lana, I am posting the link to my story on my blog about what I use for my seizures. I have used birth control and have had seizures on and off I do get pills that have the same amount of birth control opposed to the triphasic ones and like it a lot better. I personally don't use the Phytoestrogen as I don't like any type of soy in my diet. I hope this helps!!  http://healthdrops.org/1/post/2014/03/march-15th-2014.html

Hey I am wondering what I can do for my absence seizures. My doctor has prescribed me Lamotrigine of 100mg and I take 2 in the morning and 2 night. I'm also on birth control pills (previfem:norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol tablets). My doctor told me that it is simply impossible that my absence seizures are connected to my birth control, however I don't believe he's right. I've researched this and some people said that they had seizures while on birth control and when they stopped using birth control, the seizures have stopped. Coincidence? I'm also anemic and take birth control pills to only control my blood flow, since I had very very heavy bleeding and really bad cramps... I'd like to add that I faint on the first day of every period. I remember that my absence seizures started a little after I started using birth control. I also think that my birth control might not allow my medicine for my seizures to work correctly.
In conclusion, I need to control my absence seizures so that I can drive and function as a normal person. Therefore I think that my birth control is not allowing my medicine for seizures to work correctly or thoroughly. However, I have heavy bleeding and I don't want to go through those horrible horrible periods again.
I really need your help and will consider what anyone tells me... thank you.
