[Everything doTERRA] Advice to give people

l'm having a bit of a crisis of conscience.

I have been doing a lot of reading and research, and I have found a man who seems to be very knowledgeable, and not affiliated with any particular EO brand. I respect what he says and it makes sense. My issue is that he has a lot of trouble accepting that you 'should' take EOs internally (not so much that you can, but why), and that he believes that ALL oils should be diluted before application. On his facebook page yesterday, he posted a boy with a phototoxic reaction on his back from "a popular and commercial blend advertised and aimed at children with ADD, a blend with Amyris, Patchouli, Frankincense, Lime, Ylang Ylang, Hawaiian Sandalwood, and Roman Chamomile applied without dilution - aka 'neat' ... What ethical company would put a known phototoxic in an undiluted blend?" I am assuming that he is talking about doTERRA's InTune here, and now I am wondering what to do.

I still believe that doTERRA has the best oils, but his post has made me question what I have been taught, and what I tell other people.

Why do we advise people to take them internally?

Why isn't there a warning on the bottle of InTune (particularly as it will be applied to kids before they go off to school)?

What do I tell people about the safety of EOs and their use?

This is not meant to be a criticism of doTERRA at all, just questions to help me advise other people as I know that if I am questioning this, then others should be as well.

Thanks,

Pol
