On top of eveything else my baby has been dealing with a diaper rash. It looked yeasty to me. I have been using evcoconut oil and tea tree oil, lemon balm and lavender.

For some reason tonight after putting fo coconut oil and tea tree and lavender, his bottom started getting really red and blisterig and spreading within seconds. His bottom was bright red but the redness was spreading up his back and abdomen. On top of it,He had cuts all over his bottom because he has been reaching there and scratching. And he was screaming and scratching. His lips started to shake.

I immediately got him in the water because it looked like some kind of allergic reaction.
He was screaming in the water.
In the er where I worked I remember a concoction for rashes and I found all the ointments needed to stop it from spreading. Hydrocortisone, mitroconizole and triple antibiotic. I made a paste and but it on his bottom.
He eventually stopped screaming within a 3 mins or so.

I am so sad to say but I think he had a reaction to the eo's. Did anyone else's baby have the same problem? Maybe he is just really little. He just turned a year old Sunday.
