sorry I just saw this--I would put On Guard right on the area or dilute with a little oil.  I just had a friend who had 2 toes amputated and I had her put the On Guard on before and after the surgery(of course not directly on the wound, but on other toes)--I would also be putting it in water and drinking just to avoid infection.I have heard some dentists say-skip the root canal or implants if possible--those teeth lie on meridians that go to different parts of the body and can cause trouble.christine/NE
