[Everything doTERRA] Cankers to Cold Sores to Rash, Oh My! (Is my son cleansing? food allergy?)

My 9 year old smacked his face on the pavement a month ago and cut his lip. In the 4 weeks since then he has had a canker on his cut lip (he preferred on guard or clove on the canker), which healed as quickly as a giant cold sore sprouted on the outside of his lip, nearer to his chin than lip. It seemed to be exactly opposite side of the same tissue the canker had effected. I applied Sandalwood as soon as the tiny blister surfaced. Then the cold sores multiplied over night. He had half a dozen small ones on his chin and enormous ones on both his earlobes. I had him zoned to clear energy and get things moving.  We continued to use sandalwood and he muscle tested for roman chamomile and melaleuca applied to his feet and spine, we've followed that for the past 2 weeks. The cold sores have mostly cleared, he still has a one that is weepy on his left earlobe. He asks for melaleuca on his ears. His chin while being free of cold sores is now red all over like a sunburn and has small bumps on it, kind of like hives only not in clusters. He says it itches. At the time of his zone, he also tested for PB assist. He has taken 1 a day for the last 4 days.

I know the oils work and help our bodies clear out garbage, does it sound like he's moved on to clearing something else? What part of the body clears and shows up on the chin, intestines?

He is a very trusting boy. Enjoys the oils and how well they work. He and I need a little reassurance, experience, does this sound like anything you've experienced?
