I have my dental appointment tomorrow, to extract the abscessed tooth. I have absolutely NO pain when I clench my teeth anymore and haven't for some time now. I also have very little discomfort, just enough to tell me that there is still an issue. I have done the oil pull this whole time, pretty much the whole of January, but honestly I want to be done with it. So pulling the tooth is going to be easier. I know, bad attitude =0( I have a 12ml gap or something beside the tooth (could be broken or cracked tooth or just the gum not holding the tooth), which makes for less chance of success for a root canal, so I don't want to waste money doing a root canal and end up losing the tooth anyway.
I am very grateful for the oil pull, as I never had to use pain pills =0)
Now I need to know how to take care of the gum after extraction. Detoxqueen, you said NOT to use the oil pull immediately after removal. What should I do right away and how should I go about avoiding dry socket??? Thank you all again for your help.

Dry socket is extremely painful (think childbirth pain) and dangerous so don't do oil pulling immediately after removal. You might even be able to heal the tooth if you're lucky. You might want to check out Ramiel Nagel. There's a Facebook group about his stuff and people really are healing cavities.
