I concur with citrus oils which are known to be antimucolic but if you have Myrrh you might like to try it topically on the throat area with some Bergamot (citrus).

I had pneumonia and have recovered but it left mucus in my throat. Everytime I cough you can hear it.Hard when I lay down as I seem to choke on it. I was doing oil pulls (using coconut oil, on guard, eucalyptus) and it helped somewhat, but didn't clear it. I've been suffering with this for about 6 weeks. I was able to fight off a sinus infection doing the oil pulls. I am on the LLV and am starting onguard in water again. Any suggestions? I don't want it to travel to my lungs again. I just can't seem to get rid of it! Thanks for any advice you can give!--
