[Everything doTERRA] Re: EVHC

Hi Debbie, I am not familiar with this disorder. I have read a
little and not found good oils or homeopathic suggestions. It seems
the bumps themselves are multiple ingrown vellus follicles. They
sometimes become infected and hence red and sore. There does not
appear to be any dietary or internal infection reasons for them.
From the medical doctors it seems they were trying either harsh
pharmaceuticals that are used for acne or some were using mechanical
means to remove them (punch biobsy, carbon dioxide, and laser were all
mentioned). The natural notes that I read suggested not opening them
since it helps little and causes scarring.
The best natural based comments I found was the following quote (a
little rough spelling):
Scrubbing them with shower gloves works well. Applying salasilic acid
to them helps to dry up the area but dont pop them. That creates
scares and does not fix the problem. It will actually make it worse if
u pop them. I have them under my fore arms which is a very very wierd
place and they tend to get inflamed because i use computers and the
bottom of my forearms rub against the table. they suck but scrubing
them, not to the point they bleed, but enough to remove dead skin and
such will keep them from becoming inflamed but they will not goaway.
the ones you have stab so far will become less red and a reduction in
thier apperance will occur. I one that was butchred by me and with the
scrubing with normal soap i was able to get it to be less noticable.
sorry for the spelling errors im doing this on the fly. Gl and dont go
popping them, that just makes you look like a pop marked scared person

I would consider experimenting with the scrubbing technique and then
following with frankincense or some of the oils commonly used for skin
conditions. It seems you would not want to promote closing the pores
but keeping them open after the scrubbing. Of course if the infection
occurs then using ClearSkin or other antibacterial oils should help in
those cases.

I will post your questing on GoogleGroup Everything DoTerra and you
can go there and see if someone else is familiar with the condition
and responds. Sincerely, Rex James
