Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: cracked rib from coughing

I would probably not apply the Balance over the rib- it hurts so much to touch it. It would do more hurt then good to apply it there. I would apply it on the torso or the feet. Whichever I felt more inspired to do. Seeing if one made a difference over the other. Note if applying Balance on the torso make a bigger differance then feet then I would probably look at anti-fungal oils for the chest more as that is often when it helps more there then in the feet from what I have seen.

Right now your working with an unknown cause so I would not rule out virus, bacteria, fungi, ...
If you doubt your docs lack of dx then my all means try another. A naturopathic doc may be just the ticket as well. They have many things at their disposal that doc's do not.

One more idea- we have used this in viral pnaminia even. "Hydrotherapy" - your husband can do it at home with you and these super Cherl at home/expensive at the office treatments can really help the body to get the edge on an infection and we have found it's all the more powerful with the oils. - Google it. You need 2 sheets a wool blanket or 2, a couple of bath towels, access to a bed, microwave (to heat a wet towel) & ice cold water for the other towel. Litterally seen someone go from could hear breathing from across the room to had to be next to them. Then next treatment a following day, could no longer hear them breathe. Our favorite blend with this have been Breathe or AromaTouch.
I too have cracked a rib coughing 2x, once while pregnate. So not fun. I hope you find the best combination for you and heal quickly. Note: DeepBlue blend - if you have it, has helichrism in it and is very analgesic and well as can help assist the body so it can heal that bone faster.

Good luck,
Heather
