I just met someone who is unable to drive due to her parathyroids not working (side effect of thyroid surgery) because it affects your calcium absorption. If her calcium drops too low she can't function (her body literally locks up) and if they can't get her calcium back up through massive supplementation quickly, she will be hospitalized for IV drip calcium. There are no symptoms before this happens or any type of home test. Please tell him to do his research and see if he can live with the ramifications of surgery. The only oil I see in Modern Essentials is vetiver for parathyroid support.
