The first oils that come to mind would be Frankincense and Helichrysum, oils high in Sesquiterpenes to bring oxygen to the brain cells. Possibly Lavender as it is so good for burns. If it were me I would put the oil on my thumb to the roof of my mouth at the soft palate. I would diffuse the oils and put them on the back of the neck, the temples, spine and on the feet. The modern Essentials Book has a chart on pages 288- 289 (5th edition) where you can find oils that affect the nervous system (in this case).

A family member recently has received radiation treatments for a tumor in the brain. The tumor is no longer present but the parts of her brain that received the radiation have been damaged. The cells are dying. Does anyone know of an oil protocol that would help her?
