[Everything doTERRA] Re: Clear skin blend

Thank you Apryl. I was also wondering if taking a really hot shower is a no no?

You may be detoxing a bit as you get all the bad stuff out of your skin. I have rosacea which is basically extremely sensitive, flushed, red face and I can get what looks like tiny red bumps on my face and when it is flushed it feels hot but when you touch the skin it is cool. Anyways, I use the clear skin foaming face wash and the clear skin roll on and then apply a mixture of a few drops lavender and frankincense mixed together with FCO (fractionated coconut oil doTERRA sells)  that I have mixed in a small bottle. You could also mix in hands but a bottle is less messy. Just shake gently before use. In the past I had tried prescriptions and perscription creams with no results except peeling skin in addition to my prior problem. My advise to you would be to drink water with a drop or two of lemon oil and to only use the clear skin roll on for a spot treatment. With sensitive skin it can be very irritating. Then do the lavender, frankinsence and FCO mix I make. They will calm your skin and moisturize. The FCO will not cause breakouts and is very calming for your skin. Good luck!

I have always had adult acne and recently got into DoTERRA. I used the clear skin foam face wash in the shower tonight and then the clear skin blend on my face when I got out and a bunch of little red bumps are on my face appeared. Over the past few weeks though, I have been putting lavender on diluted and my skin on my face had little red bumps. I know it is just because I have super sensitive skin but can someone give me some more insight on why this is happening and what to do? Keep in mind, I am new to essential oils so I only have a few. I have lavender, lemon, serenity, balance, citrus bliss, peppermint and lemon.
