Thanks for that note, Pam. If folks are taking the supporting nutrients, many, if not most, can successfully take Iodine, even those with Hashis. I should have cautioned that those with Hashi's should start out slowly if they are concerned. Many times, what is mistakenly referred to as an allergy to iodine is in fact, a detox reaction to the bromides that are being excreted. Here is a list if supporting nutrients plus ways to avoid a detox reaction and ways to treat one:
