[Everything doTERRA] Possible reaction to Digestzen?

I gave a friend Digestzen to try.  She was having a nasty case of the flu, maybe it was the stomach flu, lots of vomiting.  She took it in a capsule internally.  The next day she woke up with what she described as a 'sunburn'  on her chest.  Could this have been a reaction to the digestzen?  What could have caused this?  Any suggestions are appreciated.
