So my neighbor has an older male dog, Basset Hound, still in tact. Recently he developed a growth on his elbow which the vets prescribed medication for but it didn't resolve. My neighbor and vet decided to incise the growth & run tests (to rule out cancer) and when it was cut open, they discovered acne-like bumps. They removed the entire growth, prescribed antibiotics & sent them home. The growth has since returned & now my neighbor is asking me for help. Of course the first thing that came to my mind was, What is the vet's diagnosis of the growth; is it bacterial, viral, fatty tissue, etc?? She really didn't know much, just that the growth won't go away & she'd like to try the oils. I was thinking maybe Frankincense with Melaleuca? I don't know! Can anyone offer suggestions?
Thanks!
