[Everything doTERRA] Re: Materials re cancer and essential oils

Thanks for copying the actual section from the manual! Yes, I am aware that many IPCs do not follow it. I like many didn't even know the manual existed for a while! My opinion is that they should give you a print copy with your welcome packet, that would at least solve the first issue.

I think this is also in part due to the rapid growth of the company. They are aware of the issue and are working on trainings to fix it. In the meantime, we smile and do the best that we can and work with the highest integrity that we can :)

Thea, you refer to Section 14 of the manual. Part B also states:

IPCs wishing to display, promote and sell the doTERRA products and opportunity in connection with a trade show may rent a booth or set up an exhibit at a trade show or convention ("Convention"), subject to the Company's written approval of the Convention and compliance with the following requirements:

1. Complete and submit to the Company an Event Submission form. This form can be located in your online doTERRA Virtual Office under dōTERRA Tools/Tool Types/Printed Materials/Event Submission Form.

So according to the manual, every IPC who has a table in any show or exhibition requires company approval first.

In my opinion, much of the manual requires changing. It simple isn't practical - and few IPCs follow it.

That sounds like an awesome event! Keep in mind that doTERRA only allows doTERRA-produced materials on tables at booths. This means only what is on www.doterra.com/tools, the LIVING Magazines, or brochures that you can purchase on your LRP order. This also means, no tear sheets, no modern essentials books, etc. Yes I am aware that many do not follow this policy, but this is what their legal counsel is suggesting/requiring in addition to formally registering your booth with them. You can of course email them that information afterwards, or invite them to a class :) Best of luck with the booth and I hope you are able to help these people!

Look through the Modern Essentials book there is some information in it on cancer and chemotherapy. I have additional information on it from the book if you don't have it I can make a copy and e-mail it to you.

I have a last-minute opportunity to have a booth at a local event that is being sponsored by a nonprofit group devoted to cancer survivors. Has anyone found any doTERRA materials (flyers, brochures, etc) about which oils can help with issues specific to this disease, such as suppressing cancer cell proliferation, detoxifying after chemotherapy, handling insomnia and anxiety, boosting immune system function? I'd appreciate any assistance I can get due to my time limitations.
Thanks,
Janice
