I do love hearing about all of the oils though, I'm a student midwife and I am keeping a log on everyone's recommendations. Thank you!!

My first born I had an episiotomy (and about 4" of stitches) and healed very quickly with no pain, no nerve damage, happy as a clam. #2 was a different doc who believed in tearing. It was horrible, took forever to heal, I was miserable and it did extensive nerve damage. I might add this is an area you do not want nerve damage. So I think it may just come down to the doctor.
