We have used eucalyptus, lavender and rosemary applied in layers on the bottom of the feet and front of feet at the toe line for coughing. This has worked every time for my two grandchildren ( 8 mths and 3 yrs old) their 31 year old Daddy and the 61-yr old grandmother.
