Hi Hans.
According to the research I've done, Oregano, Thyme, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Clove, Marjoram, and Orange work in vitro. Here is a link to a publication: http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ffj.1904/abstract
I would make a bandage or compress using the oils and a carrier oil. By using them internally, you'll bypass the actual infection. He can take a shot of On Guard and orange juice for a secondary infection in the blood system.
Best of luck and God's Speed with your friend.

My very best friend has contracted a staph infection just after surgery. He is resistant to oils so I am trying to come up with a "silver bullet" for him. He has been through two rounds of strong antibiotics at this point. The infection is in his leg from the knee down but the surgery was in his shoulder.
He is resistant to the oils but he is open to me. I need help. He is my best friend.
