I have to echo Nannette and Pat. When I was introduced to oils I just bought the Modern Essentials book and took it home and read it cover to cover. Then about six months later I bought some balance and frankincense and a diffuser (retail) and then didn't sign up for a long time after that. (Oils last quite a while when you are just adding a drop at a time to a diffuser. When I finally enrolled and stopped doing retail my upline was shocked, she'd given up long ago. Now I'm her #2 here. Sometimes things just have to perk.
