understand the sheer desperation to STOP THE PAIN - the only thing
that cured mine was a demerol injection (but then I'd loose 17+ hrs of
my life recovering from the medication) and I was getting them at
least once per month. I've primarily managed my through stress
reduction and proper supplements (LLV and magnesium). And now when I
do get the slightest hint of anything in my head, I don't give it a
chance to see what it's going to be - I hit it with Past Tense and
it's good.
Here is some information I've ran across the last couple of days as
I've been reading this thread. They from 2 different refernce
material sources and may be helpful to some...
From Better Nutrition - Live Better Naturally
Prevent with Magnesium - up to 1200 daily
Control attacks with Feverfew - start with 500 mg amd gradually
increase to 5 g daily
At first sign of impending attack - stir 2 Tbs ginger powder into a
glass of water and drink immediately. You can take feverfew at the
same time. If pain recurs, drink another dose of ginger.
