[Everything doTERRA] Re: Finally!! Diffuser on sale!

I have two different diffusers, so I can share my experiences so far with both the Lotus Essential and the Whisper.  I just got my Whisper yesterday, so my experience is somewhat limited with the Whisper.

Lotus Essential
It is very quiet, since it has no fan
     There are only two settings
It will only run for an hour
Mine leak.  If only one leaked, then I would say it is user error, but they both leak the same way.  I followed the instructions exactly, and tried about everything to stop the leaking. They don't leak all the time, and so I think part of it has to do with the type of oils I use.  I have tried all the suggestions for it not leaking, and it doesn't seem to matter.
Even though there is not fan to diffuse the oils into the air, the output is ok.
It has some blue lights that turns on, when diffusing, that cannot be turned off like some of the other diffusers
It is nice looking compared to some of the others

Whisper
The output of this diffuser is amazing, since it uses a fan.  It can quickly fill a room with oil aroma.  Much more output than the Lotus Essential.
The name implies that it is quiet, but it is far from quiet, since it uses a fan.  So when it is stopping and starting, the fan is going on and off.  If it is right next to you while you are trying to sleep, it can be quite annoying.
It can run longer, up to 9 hours
     Uses less oil
Has many different 7-8 settings for different intervals
     It does not leak
Little more involved to get setup, where it has two sections to put water, and one section for the oil.
It has a switch for turning off the light

These two both have their pros and cons, and I am just sharing my experiences and what I know about both.  Others may have totally different experiences.  Hope this helps.
