[Everything doTERRA] Re: FCO in samples?

I agree with Jan as well. The true problem is are you schooled and
educated enough to mix your own blends. Do you know top notes from
middle notes? Do you know which ones blend with which ones? I have
learned this through my own mixing trials and stupidity. Leave it up
to Dr. Hill is my new motto. What we're dealing with is the synergy
of the oil. When you layer the oils, they become stronger themselves,
so... if you rate lavender alone on a scale of 1-20 as 13 in helping a
rash, and you put melaleuca on it, and normally you would rate it
alone as 9 with the rash, then, when you layer them, they work
"synergistically" and are only stronger because they are layered.
Then lavender is now 19 and melaleuca is now 15. They can only do it
together, layered. Not blended. Layered. Does this example make
sense? I hope that helped.

Also, remember don't be blending blends with blends. WAAAAY too many
oils at once for the body. (I've had this discussion with Dr. Hill,
he gets very concerned when we have 30 oils in one bottle.) Keep it
simple! One oil can tell the body so many messages, and if we chose
the right one, it will help faster and better. Smart little machine
our bodies are. If any of you have ever used homeopathics... I was
taught that you read and study to find "the one" remedy that best
suits your symptoms. Now, there are tons & tons of blends. When you
use remedies premixed, I think of my receptors as having to sift
through everything and deciding what is needed, what to ignore, what
messages to send, where to send, etc. I like to think of oils the
same way. Start with one. Only a few drops. Less is more! Best to
dilute everything with babies. Layering is best. Reapply as needed
or every 4 hours (general rule) cuz our bodies will process it. I
hope this helps. Janet btw- (my waiver) I'm not a scientist,
chemist, dr, rn, but this to me, just makes sense... I have no clue if
it's correct. :D
