[Everything doTERRA] Re: DoTerra a Scam?

This is a forum for information. Everyone should feel safe asking any
question, raising any issue. Responses should not be reactions,
should not be emotional. If you find yourself apologizing at the end
of a post, maybe it is time to delete and try responding instead of
reacting. Blocking information or saying it is not needed by certain
individuals is not useful.

I have been a part of this group only a few days and it is clear to me
that not everyone has received the same great upline and team training
that I have available to me. Some of the questions asked here are
basic knowledge things that I was taught from the begining and I
sometimes wonder why someone doesn't know it and is having to ask it.
But the whole point here is to educate, so the question gets answered,
and should be done so with out judgement or criticism in word or tone.

Kris was questioning the information she was getting and wanted clear
answers to help her know she is right in feeling that her friend's
information is likely flawed. Let's all remember that we need to
learn how to seek reliable information. In the information age there
is a lot of terrible information out there and sorting through and
determining the credible from the crap can be very difficult. So
let's help each other here.

The Frankincense question has been answered, but a bit more on this
particular part of the question. Boswelic acid is in the impurities
in the resin. Resin without the impurities is steam distilled to
release the oil. The oil itself shouldn't have it in it, it changes
the therapeutic effectiveness of the oil. I was just briefly on YL
site and they call their product resin which raised a flag for me.
Also the products that tout the boswelic acid in the oil have about
80mg PER BOTTLE. Each serving of Alpha CRS has 300mg. So even if it
was good to have in the oil, you'd need over 3 bottles a day to equal
the supplement amount in a days worth of Alpha CRS.

Kris, keep asking and seeking until you feel comfortable. For me, the
fact that there is a supplement label on the bottles tells me doTERRA
is in a class by itself. I was unable to find quickly on YL's site
what YLTG actually meant, but I do know that other oils can label
their product "100% pure therapeutic" and it can be massively
diluted. I also know several people who switched from YL to doTERRA
the minute they smelled each oil side by side. Their nose told them
the difference is real and profound. And I echo the comment that many
top leaders in doTERRA used to use/be with YL and that speaks volumes
to me. But you need to be sure, so I hope you find the answers to
settle things for you.
