Subject: Doterra questions
Forgive me for changing the subject line here, but I felt that the discussion was getting a little hot under the collar. I felt that the person posting originally, wanted some answers and perhaps we were all a little bit hasty in our response and tone of the emails we have sent.
I think that perhaps one of the ways you can get the answers you seek would be to start doing research that might answer those questions. Research what Dr. Pappas has on his web site. He isn't associated with doterra, but he has done a lot of research and is considered one of the leading chemists and essential oils. He says that there is no boswelic acid naturally occurring in frankincense. Therefore when you find oils that have it in it, you can be sure that it is not 100% pure.
You might also consider researching the CPTG designation. Well it is true that young living does have their own designation, you might just consider what doterra's means. Dr. Hill did quite a bit of training on this at the last convention. He talked about an oil needing to be pure and potent in order to be effective.
Many of the scientific testing results can be found through corporate. Dr. Pappas has also done extensive testing and it can be found on his website. If you are familiar with them, you may not understand what they are saying, but at least you will know that the testing has been done. DoTerra has not released the names of their labs, but they are independent labs and they make sure that is part of the literature you can find through research.
Ultimately, I think you need to just decide what you want out of your essential oils. I did not take your post to be argumentative. I took it to be one of asking and looking for answers. I think one of the quickest ways for you to see the difference is to simply stack them up against each other. Get one oil from one place and one oil from another. Test them yourself. I have found that doTerra is by far the most superior product. Additionally, when I need it to work it does. The same every single time. Often you can tell it just from the smell.
I do think it's healthy to be educated. I do think it's healthy to ask questions. But ultimately, as has been pointed out, you just have to decide which product and which company you feel best about. Personally, I think that you cannot do any better than doTerra.
As for rank names, compensation plans, and so on, those are often the same from company to company. They are common to many network marketing companies. I have a friend who is in Asea and those are very similar to doTerra. I think if you researched from company to company would find that to be true. Network marketing compensation plans are often similar because they are tried and tested formulas. I think you will find that doTerra has some special things in their compensation plan that you would not see in another company.
I hope you find the answers you are looking for. I know that they are there. I have done extensive research of my own, and I cannot find another company that compares to doTerra. I feel very confident in this company, the leaders, and in their product most of all.
Good luck and have a wonderful evening.
Charly
