he had about 10 years ago. He is on the diet recommended for people
with gout, he exercises regularly, and does what he needs to do. His
gout attacks get less frequent when he rides his bike every day but
with the winter still being here he has had issues with chronic
attacks. We have been able to use oils to dissipate the attacks
quickly and help with the pain.
There is a drug called Allopurinol that helps reduce uric acid in the
blood but it is very bad for the liver, and as someone with chronic
gout he would have to take it every day for the rest of his life. He
has been very stubborn about not taking it (thankfully) because he
doesn't want to damage any more filter organs than he needs to BUT he
has been having more and more frequent attacks as the winter goes on.
We are having a baby here any day now (#2) and he is stressed taht his
body is not behaving the way we need it to for support right now
He has done the Gx assist and probiotics after (I have theraputic
grade liquid probiotics I have been taking during pregnancy so not PB
assist, but good probiotics), he has been drinking lemon in his water
daily. What else can we do to maintain lower uric acid levels in his
blood so his gout attacks are not so frequent?
