[Everything doTERRA] Chemotherapy??

Hi!!
Does anyone know about using oils during Chemotherapy? I got told that they can interfere with treatment but I can't find any scientific basis for this statement expect it being published in a (non doTERRA) book about aromatherapy.

My friend has been having treatment for about 4 months once a week and has come down with a nasty cold/cough and is not taking any medication for it.

I was suggesting Peppermint and Breathe for congestion… Flu bomb as a natural antibiotic … and Frankincense and Lavender topically as these were the oils she had available.

Does anyone have any suggestions or information on the use of doTERRA oils during Chemo treatment ? She is scared to use them now after reading on the internet not to use essential oils.
