Would those two oils also be good for a recent bone fracture?

RE: [Everything doTERRA] heart racing and light headedness

Sorry – this is probably too late – but I have a friend who had a similar experience, and she placed Wild Orange over her heart area and within 5-10 min. she was fine.  I’m sorry you’ve had such a stressful day!  We love you! – Brooke M.

I need some thoughts.  I've had a really, really stressful and emotional day.  A few hours ago I started getting these flutters-almost like my heart is racing and a wave of lightheadedness. It keeps happening, every few minutes and I feel dizzy.  Is there any recommendation for an oil? Do I need to lay down and rest to see if it goes away? I would love any thoughts. I really don't want to go to the ER, if I don't have to.

[Everything doTERRA] Re: Trim Shake

What about the LLV while nursing. One of my IPC's said on the bottle
it recommends to NOT use while nursing. I thought it was just fine? Is
this just for liability issues that it is labeled like that?

[Everything doTERRA] bowel dysfunction

Yesterday I was approached by a young woman in her mid to late 20s
with the qyestion of is htere help for helping me with stopping to
have the need to deficate frequently and urgently while riding in a
car? She does not have a diagnosis. The doctors don't have a clue what
to do. I sense there are emotional ties here but since we were in a
group of people time was limited. I can recontact her and ask more
quesitons, but just wondering if anyone has heard of this and if they
have any solutions.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Oregano and Lemon for Pain

That is great to know.  My kids suffer from major growing pains.  The deep blue seems to work, but I go through it fast, so when I run out, I will give this a try

thank you for sharing :)

Thank you for sharing that! If the Deep Blue hasn't been effective for my mother-in-law and father-in-law's knee pain, I'll have them try this when we go there tomorrow.

than any pain pill and so much more effective.  It's been almost a

I hope that someone can use this information.  :)

[Everything doTERRA] basil

ok so i ordered basil last month for the first time. I usually smell all the oils when i get them but this was the only new one to me at the time so i just put it in the cupboard with the rest of them. Today i started feeling a congested ear so i busted it out to rub on my ear. OH MY it is by far the best smelling!!! I love this one! i can't stop sniffing my fingers! so I go on to the everythingessential.me site to look up some other uses. then i see a precaution about nursing moms, any one know why? i am still nursing. hopefully its nothing too huge because i can't get enough of this oil!

My friends kids all get exercise induced asthma and have been using an

since it has worked great for my son. Her kids tried it and for some
reason it didn't help them. Has anyone had success with other oils for

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Where do I find a list of things Frankincense is used for?

I had a precancerous (that's the way the doc described what my Dad had and mine looked the same) kind of growth on my forehead and used Frankincense oil on it (before my doTerra days and apparently doT's is even better!).  Within a few days it got kind of puffy looking and after two weeks it loosened and came off.  No scar. No mark.  My Dad had his burned off.  That's actually what perked up my interest in the oils and the Slim & Sassy totally sold me!

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Acne Scarring

I don't know if this will work on scarring but it does work on acne:  Clear Skin™ Topical Blend
I purchased it for my 13 year old son and he has been using it a week.  His face is 100% better!  He loves it as he uses it by himself without me having to nag him.  I can tell a difference in him already!

Hope this helps.

My 13 year old scratched her cheek yesterday at school and had two 3 inch red marks on her cheek and chin.  I used the Immortelle sample we were given at the Leadership Retreat twice on it in the afternoon and before bed, and they are both GONE today! – Looking forward to getting more with the special next month!  WaHoo!!!  I have also used Helicrysum and Frankincense for old scars and seen good improvements.

I have two teen daughters that are using melaleuca and lemon on a very regular basis nightly. My 19 year old has reduced the red spots (scars) from acne. Also, this has helped reduce the breakouts as well. Modern Essentials would be a great place to look for other ideas. Hope this helps.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Heavy Metals

Thank you Sharon - for your very important information re mercury
filling/s removal.

In my experience here in Australia,

THE REMOVAL PROTOCOL MUST INCLUDE -

RUBBER DAMMING IN THE MOUTH

OXYGEN FOR THE CLIENT TO BREATHE DURING THE PROCEDURE

THE CLIENT TO INGEST ONE BUNCH OF FRESH CORIANDER(cilantro)
per Day !!! - chopped fresh into food for 30 days to help remove
residues of the heavy metal from the body.

Perhaps doTERRA CPTG Coriander essential oil might be of assistance
with the above.

RE: [Everything doTERRA] Acne Scarring

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Acne Scarring

Frankensense and Helichrysum have been AMAZING for my acne scars (30+ years worth of them).  I apply both to my face morning and night and - WOW!  (I had previously used melaleuca for a few years, but wasn't personally pleased with the results.)  Every body is different, so different oils will most likely have a different effect on each individual.  But I would DEFINITELY recommend giving the helichrysum and frank combo a try.  It's been a miracle lifesaver for me!

And - just an extra FYI - for recurring acne, try Purify.  I use it as a spot treatment and it zaps my pimples almost overnight!  The oils are fantastic for skin issues!!

Good luck!

Hi Everyone,

It was great to see all of you at the doTERRA event last weekend in the class on "Using Oils With Food."

I have attached the handout from the class.  It has great ideas about creating a "Culinary Kit" of essential oils.  Please feel free to make copies of this and share it.  I have made a couple of changes on the document so it no longer says anything about using dill essential oil since we don't have that one - yet. (giggle:)  **Don't forget to use BROWN sesame seeds when you make the Birdseed bars. They taste better than the white seeds.

I have also attached the AMAZING recipe for Honey-Lemon Cake with Lavender Icing.  Mmmm.  This is a recipe that will dazzle.

Enjoy!

For caffeine, I would recommend weaning off slowly.  This way the headaches are minimal.  Why make him suffer more then necessary.  When I have gone off drinking coffee, I go from a mug a day, to half a mug, to black tea, to green tea, and then none.   There are slight changes in energy, but no migraines and extreeme headaches.  We would never ask someone to go cold turkey of a med which is a drug, why do it with caffeine?  Just my two cents

I have a potential IPC that has some concerns about the oils. How do
we know they are "safe" and not going to cause some sort of side
affect later on down the road? We have all been conditioned to know
that there will be some sort of side affect with meds. Every
commercial you hear will talk about how great the medication is and
what it treats, then the rest of the commercial is mentioning possible
side affects. I too still find myself becoming skeptical about the
oils and I am an IPC.

She also wanted to know if, say you are using the oils to help you
sleep at night, are you going to have to use them every night there
after in order to help you get to sleep because your body has become
    dependent on the oils?

This person is HUGE on research, documentation supporting that
research. She's an attorney. So, not only do I want to be able to
answer these questions for her, I would also like to know where to get
the information to back up what everyone tells us about the doTERRA
    oils.

Thank you for your support and information

I wanted to add to this topic. My husband's uncle was diagnosed with
cancer 10 months ago. Colon cancer. They told him he had 30 days to
live. My father in law immediately took down Frankincense lavender
lemon on guard, along with the supplements. The uncle immediately
started taking all these oils in caps (now just straight) rubbed them
on his stomach and feet twice a day. He lived through Chemo with not
ONE side effect and the tumor is gone. This was 10 months ago. Uncle
feels great. Doctor's are amazed. Thought I'd share. Too excited not
    too.

Hey Friends! I had the fortunate opportunity to talk with Dr. Hill
when he was in Boise last. I've been suffering from Tennis Elbow for
months. Deep Blue didn't really help much. I asked Dr. Hill what I
could use instead and he suggested I try Oregano (remember to dilute
it) and Lemon together and applied externally. Seriously? Better
than any pain pill and so much more effective. It's been almost a
month and my arm hasn't bothered me for about 4 days.

Thank you for sharing that! If the Deep Blue hasn't been effective for my

Hi, I, too, recommend more water; what dosage of Slim & Sassy is
    being used?

I had a report from a friend who is trying Slim & Sassy. She reported
indigestion when using 5 drops in her water. When I did talk to her
the other night I suggested she lessen the dose to 1-2 drops in water
and gradually work up. She probably needs to drink more water, as
    well.

I can only use 1-2 drops of Slim & Sassy a day, as needed. Remember:
everyone is different. Different substances affect us in different
ways depending on what we need. Remember bananas can stop diarrhea or
constipation, which seems weird, too. Perhaps Slim & Sassy works the
    same way.

It is always harder to get in front of this once it has been let go. Using
    the oils
at the very beginning is always preferable.
Use Breathe and Rosemary on her chest and back through out the day. Put
    Lemon, Melaleuca
and Oregano on her feet alternate it with Thyme and Wild Orange. Put it on
    her feet every
    couple of hours.
Put Frankincense down her spine in the mornings.
This will take some time and energy to keep the oils on her, also she is
    only 10 so do not
use heavy doses, just a drop of each oil mentioned and layer them do not
    blend them.

Hope this helps, they are suggestions only,
    Pat

:( I'm sorry Kelli. Pat is right. It will be harder to do now that
she's as bad as she is. I have an asthmatic child and use breathe and
lime on him when he starts to cough. I use it normally until his
cough is gone or for sure lessened. Now that she has pneumonia it's
possible that her immune system may be compromised. I would also
start doing some onguard on the bottom of her feet.

I hope she feels better soon!

Vulvodynia (vul-vo-DIN-ee-uh) — or chronic vulvar pain — is characterized by pain in the area around the opening of your vagina (vulva). The pain, burning or irritation associated with vulvodynia may make you so uncomfortable that sitting still for long periods or even having sex becomes unthinkable. The condition can go on for months or years.

    Thanks,
I would suggest taking Frankincense, 2 drops under the tongue daily. I would
    also
put a spray attachment on a bottle of Lavender and after her bath/or shower
    each
morning I would do a light spray to the affected area. Give it a week of
    consistent
applications and then report back. If one oil doesn't work there are others
    we can
    try.

What is the best protocol for overcoming a caffeine addiction? I hear
about this more often than not when talking w/ people about their diet
and would like to know if there is a tride and true method to direct
    them to follow.

I do want to clarify that the "addiction" that sparked this question
was NOT coffee - but an energy supplement that he takes first thing in
the morning to "kick-start" his day. He said that when he doesn't
take it he gets the typical headaches that feel like they will quickly
transition into a migraine. It is about 65mg of caffeine first thing
in the morning - which in comparison doesn't seem like a lot, but he
would really like a resolution to getting off of it knowing that in
any dose, caffeine isn't good for our body.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Patricia Leavitt <doterradiscover@gmail.com> Mar 30 06:41AM -0600 ^

There are lots of addictions, but caffeine is a bad one. He just needs to go
    through
the detox part of it. Cinnamon oil on the tongue can help with that. I would
    also suggest
a good cleanse. The Zendocrine could be helpful and if he does not use the
    LLV you
might want to suggest that also.

When you say "just needs to go through the detox part of it" what
exactly do you mean? Do I tell him to just be a big boy and suck it
up? He is on the LLV, I didn't know about the cinnamon so I will tell
him that, but he is also on the zendocrine supplement and uses the
zendocrine blend on a daily basis whether diffusing or internally. He
drinks citrus in almost all of his water... but when he doesn't take
the morning "get me started" dose, he will develope a huge headache.
Any way to circumvent that? He would love to give it up but it
interferes enough with his day that he keeps putting it off.

I guess that is what I meant, "suck it up". The only way he will get rid of
    those
massive headaches is to go through a few, using lots of oils for the pain.
    There
is no easy way to right a wrong. The caffeine is extremely addicting. I
    can't even
imagine what it must be like. When I gave up coke, I never had such a
    headache
and I had no oils back then and the medicine barely touched it.

He is doing all the right things and its really terrific that he understands
    the need
    to get off those drinks.
Try the weekend, for getting through the worst of it.

When I went off caffeine 18 months ago, the headaches were terrible, but the thing that helped me stay off of it was lots and lots of grapefruit oil in my water. I drank it all day long.  Grapefruit can help with addiction and it certainly helped me.

I would think that Past Tense, Deep Blue, or Peppermint would help with the
withdrawal headaches. It would be worth a try, rather than just "sucking it
    up", IMO. [?]

Good luck to him. No addiction is easy to break, but the hardest ones are
things like caffeine and nicotine because of how pervasive they are to our
