I applied oils every single day for 3 to 5 x'a a day for three weeks, with hot compress and ice and my spinal canal actually thickened. This was after lifting my grandson and pinching a nerve with two MRI's to confirm the increase of thickness and blood flow. (I could not walk without excruciating pain). Getting to the restroom was a major task. My testimony is on the the everythingdoterra website under back pain. The list of oils I used, (including the oils Pat mentioned) is there too. I can't remember what all I did, so I'm glad I put it there to refresh my memory!...LOL! My doctor told me I didn't need any pain meds if I had it under control, not to mention no physical therapy. So these oils can work amazing healing. Let us know how she is doing.

I would treat the area for relief of nerve damage. There is not a lot you can do about
the narrowing of the canal.
I would use Helichrysum, Patchouli and Peppermint down the spine, you might want
to mix it with a little Fractionated Coconut Oil for better spreading. Then if possible
apply a warm towel to drive the oil in.
