Re: [Everything doTERRA] Tooth extraction

I am the son in law that had the work done.  After the local wore off, I had to use something for the throb, which was significant.  Past Tense was Very Good topically.  White fir topically was not as good, but helped. On-guard and extra clove in a water/oil pull helped tremendously with gum pain.  Balance was very relaxing.  The Dr. gave me an antibacterial mouth wash to use, but I was not going to touch anything with chlorhexidine in it.  I might as well eat poison ivy and drink some anti-freeze.  So I am using virgin coconut oil with 3 drops Oregano and 3 drops On-guard 3 times daily, and further on-guard in water "quick swishes".  The incisions look amazing, swelling and pain are all gone, to the point that I was able to brush my teeth and gum's as normal as usual this morning (within 36 hours of the minor oral surgery).  No blood by the way. absolutely NO pain or swelling today.

I used balance all during the procedure.  My dentist and the nurse loved it, the dentist is a doterreritedentist now.

PS. I hate dentists.

BTW, be very gentle with oil pulls after an extraction, you do not want to rinse a way any clotting, and expose nerves or bone.

My son-in-law just spent 3-4 hours in a dentist chair having his front teeth recapped.
They gave him a prescription for pain meds which he would not fill. When I was over
there yesterday he walked downstairs with a spoon that had solid coconut oil on it, when
I asked him what it was he said he used this with OnGuard and Oregano on it to oil pull.
He said it has really helped with pain and their was no visible swelling or redness.

I cringed at the thought of the solid coconut oil but he said it liquifies quickly in the mouth
and worked great. You could also use our Fractionated Coconut Oil and he said it would
work just as well.

You don't want to swish the oil hard, you want to gently hold it in your mouth pulling it
around to get the oils working. Leave as long as you can and then spit it out. Repeat the
procedure 2-3 times a day.

Hi everybody!
I just got my wisdoms pulled out! I have a couple of questions. Is
there anything for keeping the swelling down and making sure
infections don't form?
