If it is not for drinking, you can add a teaspoon of bleach.  If it is for drinking, no bleach & make sure the plastic is BPA free.  I don't know about the oils.  When you find out, please let me know.  I also, would like to store H2O, however, I don't know what to use though.  Thanks
