I have been finding some research saying essential oils are toxic to cats. I have asked the everythingdoTERRA community their thoughts on this, but will no reply. Be careful using oils on your animals as they are smaller with a waaaay more powerful sense of smell than us, some vets say cats can't not metabolize the phenols and alcohols in some oils like we can so they can build up a toxicity. I guess just do some research before using oils on cats.

Yes! I used it on a dog last year in Santa Barbara. I took a bandana and soaked in cold water (it was super hot outside) placed a drop of breathe and held it up to the dogs muzzle. It really helped. Also lavender or Serenity can help them calm down if it is making the animals anxious.Arin--On Wed, Jul 28, 2010 at 11:11 AM, Kevin McDonough <doterraoil4u@gmail.com> wrote:
We are having a big fire here in Tehachapi. Question: Has anyone used Breathe on animals, dogs, cats or horses? We've lost 40 homes and this is horse country. Please let me know. Thank you!
