Yes! I used it on a dog last year in Santa Barbara. I took a bandana and soaked in cold water (it was super hot outside) placed a drop of breathe and held it up to the dogs muzzle. It really helped. Also lavender or Serenity can help them calm down if it is making the animals anxious.Arin--
