[Everything doTERRA] damaged melanin from lemon oil

I was so excited about my oils I didn't do research before I was
ruining my melanin. I thought, that like the juice, the oil would be
even better. So last summer I was rubbing it on my face & body to
tan, literally. I have now, uneven pigmentation, is there any way to
reverse this?
