Yes, I completely agree with Loryjean about the transitory process. Kathy asked about my protocol. I don't have a specific protocol. What I do have, however, is every essential oil doTERRA has made available, and I trust my intuition. I reach for whatever oil my insides say I need, even if I don't think it makes sense at the time. I always feel better from using them.

In my experience, the oils help you become able to see and define what
emotions are blocking you up and making your responses difficult.
Sometimes we think we "know" why we feel like we do, but there are
factors we aren't considering for one reason or another. When you use
the Focus and Hearing protocols, the AromaTouch, simply oil
application or diffusion, and you are directed mentally about what you
hope to accomplish, you can have what I call "healing events", where
you are able to suddenly let go of some latent emotion and see clearly
what it was, why you had it, and how it has affected you and others.
In my opinion, most people who have had emotional trauma, abuse and
other related issues really have more than one thing going on in their
minds and emotions. It's hardly ever "all out on the table" and
visible or recognisable to them or those who want to help. It's a
process to keep discovering and letting go, and you can't predict how
long that will take or what you may need to do if you are helping. The
"transition" part is what you go through as you identify and start to
deal with these things, and you continue to discover more to deal
with. It is not always comfortable, sometimes it's surprising to see
what else there is, but if you focus on the progress and relief
already experienced, while working towards the next break through or
realization, then it is easier. You just have to accept that healing
is progressive, and a single experience with the oils isn't "it" or
the final outcome- unless you quit there!
