I have dropped my oil bottles many times, yes I am a klutz. I have never broken one. I have

them in my back pack, carry them in my purse, sling them around when walking or hiking and

still they are in great condition.

I would be more worried about keeping them away from electronics, cell phones and such. We

should remember that the oils have frequency and we should never expose them to electronic

equipment.

Yes, glass is safe for the oils but breakable. For example if you have an emergency backpack/ disaster preparedness kit you want to pack oils in along with food and gear.

I don't feel good about putting oils into plastic containers either, no matter how good the quality is.

It would be good to know if there is a ceramic type coating on the stainless.

Glass will not absorb the oils, plastic will so it is better to be safe with
