Breathe, eucalyptus rubbed on his chest and throat, diluted with the coconut oil or some olive oil. Put a warm towel or washcloth (making sure it STAYS warm) over the area. A bathroom with the hot water running full-force in the shower is a great place to sit with him so he can breathe in the steam. Wrap him up well with only his face showing, and take him outside in the cold to breathe in the air. It will take down the swelling of the vocal cords. All of these have worked for me as my kids had it often, and my grandkids get it VERY often. Good luck! Sharon --- On Wed, 12/23/09, Marti Christensen <martichristensen@hotmail.com> wrote:
