Pete,
I would also like to know if the SS is a viable option. I will do more research and see if we can
find an answer.
Thanks,
Pat

I've had customers and also have dropped one or two myself that have broken but yes, usually they don't.
There are just certain times where glass is not appropriate or safe. That's why I would like to know.
Does anyone else know ? Thanks, Pete

I have dropped my oil bottles many times, yes I am a klutz. I have never broken one. I havethem in my back pack, carry them in my purse, sling them around when walking or hiking andstill they are in great condition.I would be more worried about keeping them away from electronics, cell phones and such. Weshould remember that the oils have frequency and we should never expose them to electronicequipment.PatOn Tue, Dec 29, 2009 at 6:40 PM, pete covatta (mountainman) <doterrawellness@gmail.com> wrote:Thanks Pat that's good to know.
Yes, glass is safe for the oils but breakable. For example if you have an emergency backpack/ disaster preparedness kit you want to pack oils in along with food and gear.
I don't feel good about putting oils into plastic containers either, no matter how good the quality is.
It would be good to know if there is a ceramic type coating on the stainless.

I know that some of the oils come in stainless steel containers but I don't know if the inside is coatedor not. Glass is safe!PatOn Tue, Dec 29, 2009 at 2:47 PM, pete covatta (mountainman) <doterrawellness@gmail.com> wrote:What about stainless steel ?

I can get intothe science of it, but I am not really good at explaining that. I know thatthe oils will gravitate to the plastic and hang on to it, where as the glassis simple the holder of the oil.Glass will not absorb the oils, plastic will so it is better to be safe withthe glass containers. If we create a mixture of oils or dilute an oil in coconut oil does it
HAVE to be in a glass bottle and what are your thoughts on this?
