Something else to think about is that cold sores come from a virus (herpes simplex) which stay inactive in your body until something triggers a breakout such as getting sick or stress. This is an indication that your immune system is low. I have the same issue. I just had 2 cold sores and Melaleuca neat as soon as I felt the tingly sensation every hour or two took care of them pretty well.
