I bought glass spray bottles and used vodka and distilled H2O.  I can't remember the exact amounts but it was just about 1 tsp of vodka per 2 oz bottle and then probably about 20 drops of the oil and filled the rest with the water.  This year I think I will do a pinch of epsom salts in first with the essential oil and then add the liquids because I read that it helps the oil disperse better.  I just put a cute label on there saying to shake it before spraying and then a list of fun uses.  Things like freshen your room, spray it on someone who is a grinch, use it as poo-pouri, etc.
