Re: [Everything doTERRA]

No offense taken Charly but I've worked for an alternative holistic MD (degrees in medicine plus a bunch of other alternative ones) and I've seen things that greatly contradict your belief system. Yes, there are some very rare genetic things that don't apply and what I've stated are the basic needs. Very basic. I have seen twisted and lumpy arthritic  hands turn normal within weeks of a person making changes as simply as removing dairy. I have seen people with diseases who are told they won't walk ever again, walk again.  With the exceptions of some rare chromosomal issues or things out of our control (Chernobyl, pesticides from the farm next door, mercury from coal-fired power plants coming in on the jet streams to name a few), we are in control of our own health. The sooner we take back that power and realize it, the sooner we can get well. When we believe that it is not possible to heal, we cannot. I don't believe in the North American "illness" model. Parasites are at the root of many diseases and the acid foods keep the body in an environment where they thrive. I believe our oils will help to create a better environment and when we do things like the GX Assist and use Terrazyme (or other enzymes) the body has a chance to heal.  We are what we eat and absorb. If we eat a diet not meant for human consumption we will get "disease". Dis-ease.

Food allergies are simply caused by an over active immune system and toxins and cleansing and removing foods for a time that we are allergic too will give the body a break and allow it the strength to heal itself. We are self-healing machines.  You know how a cut heals?  The entire body works this way.  We are not separate parts as the western medical model would have us believe.  A doctor for this body part, another for that. It's absurd.

A constant daily intake of junk that stresses the immune system is why conditions become chronic instead of just healing. It really is a lot more simple than the medical world would have you believe.  I don't always have time to get into details on this group. I often just post a few sentences so people can go and do their own research. I cannot give anyone specific advice, just a generalized idea that will help. If they choose to do something with it, great. If not, that's up to them but taking someone's hope away by saying it's not possible to get well is not doing anyone a favor Charly. Placebo works better than most drugs and hope alone can heal in many cases. Did you know that people given fake chemo lost their hair? That's how powerful the mind is. Unfortunately we are trained practically from birth to not use the power of our mind. We are conformed and trained to suit the needs of the system that is run on money.  I prefer to rule my body and brain and I don't believe in disease. My body has healed things that normally require surgery or treatments if you would believe doctors. I don't bother going to them anymore. They are not part of my reality. If I had an accident I'd be happy to let them sew me up but I would want out of there ASAP.

Given the placebo effect, giving people "false hope" is one of the best things we can do. That hope could save their lives. The oils will give them the joy and uplifting to support that in a gentle manner. Lemon is refreshing and smells so good that when they drink it that cannot help but feel more joyful and joy is needed to heal. A depressed or negative person is not likely to ever get well. Entire libraries have been written on the above subjects so take this as a very, very, basic and general approach and not as medical advice.

Warning! Small rant! Proceed with caution. :) I respectfully disagree with this. I have mentioned this before on this site, so forgive me for saying it again. Or don't and kick me off. Rheumatoid arthritis may be made worse by an acid environment or food allergies, but it is not caused by that. I think it is important that we not use words "cure" and "caused" and others when referring to serious medical conditions--that puts us in the category of first, making a diagnosis and second, spreading information that may not be entirely accurate. I have an autoimmune disease that is genetic, which incidentally includes rheumatoid arthritis. No amount of oils will change what I have inherited. I can't turn my brown eyes blue. (Crystal Gale reference there--I'm old!) However, changes in diet, using the oils, etc has completely changed my health and how severely it manifests. We can very safely talk about aiding the body but when we begin to say things like this, we are not only often wrong, but can you imagine how it feels to be told that something as debilitating as RA and other autoimmune diseases can be, are caused by diet, acid and allergies? As if we have somehow screwed up and made this happen to ourselves? Or if we were somehow more perfect in how we eat, what we drink or expose ourselves to that we would be healed? There is a great difference between being cured and being symptom free. I am very careful and yet--I'm still sitting here with a disease that impacts me every single day. Eventually, if I'm lucky, I will outlive the disease and die of something else. There is no cure for many autoimmune diseases, as is probably true for many others. We are dismissed from the medical community over and over because there are no answers. Let's be careful about what we say and make sure that what we are saying is accurate and safe information. Sharie--I apologize for responding to your post particularly. It really is a general observation response to what I see.

Arthritis is pretty much always a condition caused by an acid environment in the body and unidentified food allergies. Drinking Lemon oil and detoxing is crucial and eliminating acid-forming foods like dairy, wheat and pork and sugar.
