Subject: [Everything doTERRA] On Guard burning throat?

I have someone that emailed me.  She had been putting on guard on her tongue to prevent sickness since her kids are sick right now.  Here is what she said:
Tonight I kind of missed the tongue and it went in my throat which I've done purposely in the past with no reaction.  Tonight it immediately burned intensely and choked me...like I was having an anaphylactic reaction with my tonsils or throat closing up.  I thought I had accidentally drank deep blue or something and checked the bottle.  It's let up a bit but feels like I have a sore throat (I didn't) like razors. Have you heard of this?  It's so odd, but so intense I thought I would pass it on. Oh and it made my ears do a big pop too.  Still has sore throat now bits very scratchy and hoarse she thinks the skin in there is burned cause it's kind of numb when she eats. She said she is definitely not sick (though doesn't mean I wasn't headed that way) and now she is totally afraid of on guardPensive face

Can anyone advise me on why this might be happening to her.   Any advice will be helpful - she is a big doterra "user" and loves it.
