When I was first introduced to Clary Calm (as Solace), I had a quite similar reaction; I would sneeze, my eyes would water, and I would feel like my throat was closing off and my hands would become quite itchy.
I think part of it is a Pavlovian response...I'm allergic to Cedar trees. I smell it, my brain says "oh! you're allergic to that"! And respond accordingly, proteins or no. Simply because it recognizes the scent. Hahaha
After six months of using lemon in the water, I was able to use Clary Calm with only a tingle to the skin. That was a year and a half ago. :-)
Don't give up...Clary Calm is worth the wait.
