Once again--this only works if they would not miss a deadline to get in on a special, like the Immortelle is this month. I've been told that they are not actually out most times when the item shows unavailable. They have it in stock, but in the computer system they only have a certain amount allocated for sale in each market. When the orders exceed that amount, it shows as out of stock. All they have to do is reset the inventory, and it shows as being available. But in the meantime, orders cannot go through. Also, have had a few instances where people did the paper form, then got cold feet and decided not to order after all before the item was available. It's just an issue that deserves some attention.

Things can be out, but a simple solution is to have them do it on the paper forms, and tell them you will enter it within the next 24-48 hours. I have found anything out longer than that and you customer gets exactly what they want without any hassle or upset.
